(Arachis hypogaea)

Annual cycle, 30-50 cm. Stems are ramified up from the basis. Yellow flowers in leaf axils. After fecundation a pedicel grows and pushes the ovary into the ground. Pods, containing 3-4 seeds, are buried down to 3-10 cm depth.

3-5 cm depth. Harvest 60-75 days after blooming. Loose, fertile, well-drained ground. Sensitive to frost.
