Perennial plant, very ramified, measuring around 70 cm in height. Has straight, hairy stems, oval-shaped leaves and pink flowers grouped in axillary bands. Very pleasant aroma and slightly sour flavour. Leaves are used as seasoning, in perfumes and liquor
